I don't know how I got so lucky. I rescued our 1st 10 yrs ago. He was the only cat for 9 years. I truly thought he didn't want it any other way. He showed anger towards other cats. My daughter saved a kitten from the wall of an abandoned home and snuck her in. The house was demolished days later. Her friend took the other kittens, none of which survived. The mom was hit by a car. Then we bought a house, got her fixed and shots literally the day we moved as she was trying to escape. A week later we found a litter of 4 abandoned kittens under the shed of the new home. It was kitten season. Nobody wanted them and I wasn't willing to separate 2 duos cause they were so bonded. Ended up keeping them all, got them fixed. Most recently rescued a disabled kitten with swimmers syndrome. None of our 7 cats/kittens fight. Its crazy. Im so thankful. They are all perfect and I hear that keeping littermates can be problematic sometimes. You should do a video on littermates ♡

My cat ran away for the first time in the 8 years that she has lived with us. She just came home today. She’s been within a 5 house radius of ours the whole time. We’ve been putting out food/treats/toys to entice her back home. I was outside talking to my neighbor about her, we knew that she was hanging out under his truck over the last few days, we’d already checked around for her but hadn’t seen her. As we were talking about where she had been hanging out she came out from under the truck. She came up & meowed @ me. She hissed when I picked her up but she let me carry her back to the house. The first thing that I did when we got home was to put her on the kitchen table & give her some treats just like when we first found her. I also gave the small cat treats. Then I opened a can of wet food for each of them. Neither one has finished their food yet. She spent most of her day in her favorite spot in the garage. Since my husband got home she’s moved onto my side of the bed because his car is in “her spot” in the garage. The vet will see her tomorrow. She’s lost weight but has no apparent injuries & doesn’t act like she’s in pain.
She hadn’t been exhibiting any behaviors to make us think that anything was wrong. Just hanging out in the garage or on my bed like normal. She went out onto the porch with me last Monday night but didn’t come back after leaving the porch to do whatever she does when she goes off. She usually comes home the next morning & gives me an earful like it’s my fault that she took off in the first place. Then she wouldn’t come home. Our neighbors kept calling/messaging with us or coming up when we were outside to tell us that they had seen her, the kids & I each walked around the neighborhood several times daily/nightly while she was gone, calling for her/shaking the treat box, my husband went out a few times daily when he got off of work. But this whole last week she had stayed away.
I know plenty of people who say that cats shouldn’t be let out of the house but those same folks will turn you in for animal cruelty for not taking your dog outside daily. I don’t get why the disconnect exists but it does. Both of our cats go to the outside doors & sit there meowing/scratching @ the door until let out. The little one even sometimes waits by the door to run out as soon as it is opened. This is the first time that one of them has stayed away for more than 4-6 hours. They usually hang out on the front porch or in the front garden. We’re @ a loss to figure out why she ran away @ this time. Definitely going to use the leash next few times that she wants to go outside with me. (We haven’t been using the leash as much these last 2 years because we really only used it to take her to the vets office & since his wife started working there she’s been insistent on all cats being crated when they come in. Definitely ups the difficulty level of vet visits as she hates being crated. Needless to say: no superfluous visits nowadays. She doesn’t want to walk around the neighborhood usually.)

Sadly, most people who are watching this video are not the people who this video is for.

I never liked the term owner i say human because you never truly own a cat you are blessed with their presence

Our Tuxie was SEVERELY over-grooming about 3 yrs ago. We had an outbreak of fleas, probably because at that time, one of our cats still went outdoors in the daytime. No cats like being bitten and usually scratch themselves like fiends if they have fleas, but it turned out that Tuxie was actually allergic to flea bites -- and can't wear a flea collar because she's allergic to the chemicals in them. We made the decision that a vet was required, but it was late at night when we decided that. Fortunately we had some Feline CBD, so we gave her a few drops, which calmed her down enough to be able to wait till the next day. The vet gave her a steroid injection and an antibiotic because some of her bloody over-licked welts were infected, and I think she also had a few days worth of sedatives, to keep her calm while she healed. Thankfully that was the last flea-festation we've had.

Silent treatment from a cat - that's a new one!

There needs to be a distinction on the fighting issue. We have two kittens from the same litter most of their day is 'fighting', play fighting. No hissing, no meowing, no chunks of fur flying, no blood.

I like your videos there very helpful. We just moved to a colder state so I don't think there adjusting very well. There throwing up every day? Should I take them to the vets? One of them very skinny and nervous all the time. Any tips?

How do i make my adult cat like the new kittens i have adopted? She seems very territorial and wants nothing to do with them. She hisses at them when we try to bring them closer to her.😢 we adopted the kittens because we thought it will be a good idea for her to have company.

That last one. Our newest cat to the family avoids us like the plague etc only comes towards us during food time or to sleep on the cat tower in the bedroom ever since we adopted him as a kitten he's been terrified I really hate how videos like this don't explain this fear Genetic disorder... our oldest is fine around us.... and they want $400 upfront for a cat specialist or $1, 200 for a damn cat specialist in person that studies cat behavior

Indoor cats are ALWAYS unhappy. Never keep a cat on permanent lockdown indoors, as this is incredibly cruel!
