It does look nice, but I’ll be skipping this one. I agree that gold is a bit boring for a special edition. If they had made a purple one with gold/white accents to make it more of a Princess Zelda color scheme, I may have thought about making a purchase.

What's amazing to me is what Nintendo has done with the Switch. They offer 3 versions that can play the entire library -- that is remarkable. Sony? Where in the hell is your handheld that can play PS4/PS5 games?

The last one it’s a must buy I see nothing improved by it comes with no Zelda game like the Nintendo 3DS that included the game just a code to redeem for Nintendo online expansion pack only good for a year there you go you got only 1 year after that all those games are unplayable giving a game free with it is a better deal something that’s doesn’t leave

honestly this special edition is garbage, i bought the oled zelda edition and i was disappointed in it as well, Nintendo is literally just applying stickers and selling these special editions.

I don’t think we’ll get a lite option for the switch 2.

Switch 2 is leaked to have an 8 inch screen, OLED has a 7 inch. So unless the lite is 7.5, it’s impossible to make one and have not just be a newer version of an OLED lmao.

The Switch lite is still going to be around for at least a few more years. Switch 2 will be at least $400, and Nintendo needs a low-cost option.

Come Kevin, the lite is nowhere as good as the big model switch in anyway. The only thing it has over the big model is the smaller size, and there's a fine line even there. I can still fit the big model in my pockets, actually. The lite is very convenient however when I'm at work. I can conceal it much better, as well as hide it quickly, whenever someone comes in my vicinity.

Don't get me wrong, the lite is a good alternative. The dpad is too small and too tight to be of any use. They definitely made it for kids, the smaller dpad proves that. My big fingers can't use it. The battery is actually smaller than the big model switch, which absolutely made no sense.

However, I have this switch lite and it's fantastic. I have both pokemon model switch lite and now this one.

I think k it's a little too late for nintendo to make a better switch lite being the switch 2 is around the corner. I will be getting the oled upgrade kit for the switch lite though. Now that right there, is even more interesting than the oled model switch lol

I'm back on the Switch Lite train after Taki Udon released his OLED screen upgrade for it. He has bezels that match the consoles perfectly, including the LE consoles.
