MD-80 'Mad Dog' Tribute

American Airlines retired 20 of their MD-80's on August 24, 2016. All will be gone by 2018.

There have been no AA MD's at DCA for a long time. Here is a short compilation from 2014. I hope you enjoy it.

This is sad for me, I love the MD-80's My very first flight was on an MD-80 with Alaska Airlines. You as all of us are so busy back in June I posted a little clip of an American Airlines MD-80 and in the comments I said this ones for 99carnot. Great tribute for them! Cleveland used to get about five flights to DFW daily on the AA Maddog. Now, after the large retirement, 4/5 are operated by the A319 and only one MD82/MD83 drops in every day. I heard that delta is replacing the for an A321 to DCA around October 1!

Sad news on the retirement, but so much enchanted by all the scenes and the sounds in this video, and cheered up by the description at the end!!! I never thought I'd watch such a great video this weekend.
