Oh classic beauty how i miss you now! Seat 1A on Scandinavian MD-80... The best seat money could buy on intra-european flights. As a CPH based SAS-loyal frequent-traveller, i've been on their MD-80 so many times, to so many destinations in Scandinavia and Europe. I will always remember what you stood for dear MD-80. Strenght, unbeaten reliability, sleek elegance and awesome character. A super-machine truly built for us vikings, yeah! Seing the SAS MD-80 and being onboard it, i already felt like home! I can't describe how much this classic airliner means to me. One of my dearest flying and childhood memories. The spirit of McDonnell-Douglas has its own special place in my heart and it will live on with me forever!

I hope to see SE-DIR preserved on a museum in Scandinavia. I was on her last revenue flight to Stockholm 26.. october 2013

Too bad the MD-80 is being phased out. I love that plane! Its elegant silhouette, powerful takeoffs, the roaring of the engines inside the cabin. I would give everything to see an MD-80 flying again. The last one I saw was an American Airlines MD-82 at Orlando, but it was at the gate.

OMG! Im a big maddog lover and this is just amzaing!!! Im very very sorry that I have not subscribed earlier! The editing and music choise on this is sooo good! One of the best aviation films Ive ever seen! Im myself also into editing a bit more than just put a video online, but this my friend is art! Miss the maddogs..

I like very much this aircraft, why it is retiring, i know that this beauties still in service over 24 years and a half, and are considered very old aircraft
