Why my kids can't afford to live on their own

Our oldest children are now beginning to live on their own and make financial decisions independently.

Our oldest son has joined the military and is currently stationed in Arizona.

Three of these children have tried to stay local but found it impossible due to high housing prices.

They struggle to afford groceries, utilities, and healthcarethings my generation took for granted.

Why do costs stay high, even post-pandemic?

My husband works in logistics, so we understand supply chain issues, but costs keep rising while wages stay the same.

How can the average employee manage when they can't afford basics?

Erin Wiggle, a consumer from Worcester Township, PA, testified before the Senate HELP Committee.

I’m 25m. Can’t afford to move out and buy a apartment despite making 65k a year. I work 12 hour shift every day. I don’t believe any of our current politicians or near future can fix any of our current issues.

Why is this video not viral yet 8/24/2024? The cost of living and working wages are beyond out of control.
What’s feeding the greed of taking the future from any kind of stability?

I’m 32 and got laid off from a job I was at for 12 years. I had no choice but to move back in with my dad.

29 male. Haven’t ate in 4 days rent has went up 300$ since last year, car insurance went up only due to “inflation.” I literally think it would be better to just give up… it’s crazy the smell of food when you’re hungry…
