The problem with this video is that you didn't compare like to like. The results may be correct, but you can't really know until you test like-for-like parts using the same conditions other than the coating.

Which epoxy did you use?

I want to print a waterproof case for some electronics, so not high pressure in any way, but I don't think West Systems epoxy (which I have for fiberglass work) will bind to plastic..

Did you use name brand plastidip? It looked strange. Also, paintable plastidip is available.
