What settings can you use to increase the likelihood that it is waterproof... i would think running the hot end hotter might help

if in doubt, spray the outside of the part with clear acrylic varnish.... or clear flex seal...

what is high pressure? For my application, the working pressure is about 3~7 BAR with a 16 BAR limit, would be viable to 3d print parts that resists such a pressure?

Does the type of material make a difference in waterproofing? How does PLA / PETG / ABS compare with each other?

You're right but id go even further to say that the most updated slicer software is ameteur and archaic, and it should be taking this into account but instead they are creating the tool moves with the most simple to comprehend methods to cut the part up, not much of anything significant that makes real mechanical sense.

I know its an old movie. But!.. i would rather call it cnc plastic welding then printing.

The idea is to weld! The layers of plastic together with heat. Its basicly nothing more.
