Okay... I hadn't seen the movie before and I thought any scenes with Leia in them would suck, but they did a really good job. Now, we know where the ship in A New Hope came from and where was it going. Love how this takes place just minutes before the beginning.

i cry every time i watch this movie and specially this scene. It reminds me of all the adventure we’ve been through with all the Star Wars movies and how it all started in this.

I truly and honestly did not know when I first saw this that the younger Leia was CGI...I hadn't yet heard that, and since we only see her face for a few seconds, I thought they'd found an actress that looked like the younger Carrie Fisher...or that she'd been made so through the use of makeup.

There wasn’t a dry eye in the cinema after this scene. This and Anakins death are two Star Wars moments that still bring tears to my eyes

Can anyone explain why people are upset with the scene? It looks like stock footage to me..I didn't know any 3D or special effects were involved it looks perfect.

Crazy that 7 days after this movie released, Carrie Fisher was rushed into the hospital, and 4 days after that she passed away

Not enough people are talking about this but when I watch this movie and this scene and jumped right into a new hope there was an unexplainable and satisfying feeling I had. And this scene had already made me cry.
