Two points about this:

1 - If everybody only sees two colours, surely that wouldn't change the realism of video games.
2 - If transportation is banned, how would (a) we get food (remembering that those involved in the creation, delivery and selling of it were considered essential workers during the pandemic) and (b) how would the stuff needed to create different ways of distinguishing things by sound be distributed?

My main objection to this is the assumption that the chip would continue to influence visibility in later generations. How does a chip influence the brain of a child that lacks the chip? It's not a genetic influence, it's a brain influence - and since it's not tied to the genetics, it would be non-hereditary. It would be a one-generation issue at worst.

Okay so as someone who is colorblind (which in my case it just means I get colors mixed up but can see them) with traffic lights, how I can tell what the color is, is with the placement of the light
For example:🚦
If the yellow was the only one showing here I would know it was yellow, bc it’s in the middle!

Maybe if this actually happened humanity would think that way? Idk

I don’t really understand why transport would be banned, since you still have eyes and you can still see, just without color. Honestly, I think distinguishing signs is not hard because you can read them.

Red=medium gray
Blue=darker gray
Yellow=lighter gray
