How to Remove Extra Spaces in Text Cells in Excel

In this video, I show you how to remove unneeded spaces in a cell using the Trim formula in Excel 2016 (should be similar for most versions of Excel). This is handy if you need to remove spaces at the beginning or end of text, or if there are double spaces between some words. This will not remove necessary spaces between words such as "New York" but will correct extra spaces such as " New York " with one simple formula.
