There are 5 million illegal guns in the UK and shootings fairly regularly. Saying guns aren’t part of our culture is rubbish. Pheasant/Grouse and rodent hunting goes on all the time around the UK.

Look you all just don't understand. Guns under the US constitution are not legal just for hunting. This constitutional right is also to protect against tyrannical governments, even their own governments from abusing its's power, like England did to the colonists. I know you may not understand this, but our 2nd amendment to the Constitution is there to protect all of our other rights and freedoms. May be too obvious for you all to understand, but it is not a gun that jumps out and kills people, it's people that commit evil against people. That evil crime can be committed with a variety of weapons including bombs, fire, drowning, poisons, knives, vehicles, ropes, bats, spears, swords, knives, your fists, hammers, shovels etc. All those weapons kill and maim many more people than a rifle, or handgun. 20, 000 more people are killed in auto accidents per year in the US than by gunfire. To save lives, must we then outlaw cars and trucks? It's ridiculous. Most crime is committed in gun-free(by law) zones and liberal cities where only criminals know they themselves possess the firearms, it's insane. Stop talking about things you know very little of. 99.9% of guns in America are owned by good law abiding citizens. No wonder that attempts on people's lives happen. It is mainly the left's rhetoric that has caused the animosity towards President Trump and hundreds of millions of good and freedom loving people. Conservatives are vilified by left wing media and Liberals, and this political rhetoric must stop.
