When you make your cracker topping add the French fried onions to it.

I make the stick of butter rice using chicken broth instead of the beef, and a can of cream of mushroom with the french onion as well. We use to always make it for Thanksgiving so it always reminds me of that time.

So cool to see this recipe! My mom made this back in the 70’s and we called it “Yummy Rice.” She also put slivered almonds in it! I haven’t thought about this rice dish in awhile…thank you for sharing! 😊
