Making Homemade Chili Oil doesn't get any easier. Just follow these easy steps and you'll have your own bottled Chili Oil in no time, flat.

Heat Oil to 180 degrees Fahrenheit for approximately 5 minutes, then kill the heat and let it rest 2 to 3 hours before straining. Other ingredients can be added, if you want more flavor than just the heat. Garlic and Ginger are great examples but the possibilities are endless.

Exactly what I was looking for. Just a chili flavored oil. I also liked that you used the sriracha bottle for storage too. Much easier to squirt in a pan than trying to pour from a jar and making a mess. Perfect recipe, thanks for sharing. You have some great recipes.👍🏼

At what temp do you heat  the oil too   ?   Ie smoking hot or just to simmer ?

Very cool, Thanks!!  I use that stuff bout anytime a dish calls for a squirt of oil. Handy way of adding alil heat.

You can make this oil as hot as you wanna make it.. add 1 or more of the following: dried crushed red pepper flakes or dried Bhut Jolokia, dried habanero - the possibilities are endless!

i'm a poor man if i use 3 hrs just to make chilli oil my entire lpg gas cylinder will be empty although i liked your style
