I have been living in Turkey since I was born and I am receiving my education there. As a Turk, I feel sorry for the little children because they are also sad and they get involved in politics at a young age to open roblox

I am Turkish and Roblox was my first game. I played it almost 15 hours a day. It is really upsetting that they removed Roblox among all those applications.

In my country (Turkey) access to all applications has been blocked in the last month. Wattpad a month ago, Instagram a week ago and now Roblox, and on top of that they say they will close Tiktok soon. I just feel sad because people's hard work is gone. Even though it may not be visible from the outside, there are really many people who have lost their jobs...😮‍💨 They think that if they block access, everything will be okay.

I feel so bad for the people in Turkey. Like there are people who practically grew up on Roblox and to just have that taken away is messed up. And there are also developers that pay their rent and stuff with these games. I really hope Roblox can fix this. ❤

The reasons Turkey mentioned make complete sense, but all the stuff mentioned I believe is avoidable in your settings. A parent or guardian can activate parental controls which can restrict certain games. They can also disable the public chat in games. If Turkey still wanted to do something they could had made the whole game age restricted. I still beleive even though you take all the protection thats available you can still be presented with unwanted stuff, but that is literally every other app.

lowk tho cant blame the government. roblox has a massive issue with nsfw content/games being shown to minors and pdf files. roblox moderation is doing nothing to fix this as well

I saw a geme called “slots simulator” and it basicaly promotes gambling to kids who think this is like other simulator games.
I also saw a plinko game where buying a gamepass makes you nearly impossible to lose.

Gambling as a kid in Turkiye is not tolerated(imo)

As a Turkish person while I wont deny some of the things that happen on Roblox I don’t think BANNING THE ENTIRE PLATFORM is the best solution, as there are stuff like parental controls and everyone who watches the game (speaking in the context of parents and guardians here) can see the recommended games to the player so while I understand that yea, there are some things that are not appropriate but I don’t believe that banning the game on the dot will help, usually when something like this happens you send a warning and usually stuff gets fixed that way but on the dot banning is losing time on getting whatever you want to be fixed, well fixed.

Roblox isn't as safe as they claim. I've seen older players talking inappropriately to kids and asking for their contact info. Reported multiple times, but no action taken. i see why they don't want Roblox in their country

For those who don't know why roblox got bann3d in Turkey it's because the government found "inappropriate stuff for kids and they found out the adults are using games to talk to kids" I think there's is more but that's what I think
