- be consistent: say that you will do eim things in college
- make characters count
- numbers matter
- WRITE everything that you were in that organization
- write accomplishments
- write out acronyms
- order them in how many hours you've put into them
- use very strong verbs and use the smallest amount of verbs you can
- can use humor, add color
- don't exaggerate
