RT and Craig having a fairly non-stressful experience and making it back to the ship alright, only to realize with complete and utter dread that everyone else was fucking dead was the single best encapsulation of what this game can be like.
Sometimes you have an easier time because the game spent its time shitting on someone else.

-Sudden death followed by frenzied panic of everyone else
-Sudden quiet as they hide, juxtaposed by calming diegetic music
-Rescuing a clueless person who panics and immediately gets killed
-Said person inadvertently causes the deaths of multiple in a row
