I have a daughter with Downs she has shown interest in the violin. Her uncle had an old kids beginner violin that he gave us. We had the bow rehaired and got it back today. We have no idea how to handle the violin. I decided to subscribe before you were done with how to hold the bow. If you spend this much time explaining this one thing, I can see you as a capable teacher.
I will be learning violin along with my daughter.

I have been fortunate enough to have seen George in concert (with an Australian bluegrass band called "The company") and to have been in a jam session with them after the show. Saved up for my first violin and I'm travelling to a nearby city with music shops (that DON'T just sell guitars lmao) to hopefully buy my first violin tomorrow! I appreciate the general consensus is to get lessons to learn and am still looking into them, but this video is perfect for knowing what to do when trying out in the music shop! 10/10 would recommend!
