Wrong triceps dips, you're still working your lower chest. For triceps ONLY, let your feet come out in front of you, watch Mike Isratels video on it

Dips have become one of my favorite exercises, but never knew about this. I would think either way, both your chest and triceps are getting a good amount of stimulus tho. But nice to know the difference for when u want to bias one or the other.

I usually stick to tricep dips but I’m starting to see the benefits of incorporating chest dips into my routine.

Usually wide grips and flared elbows don’t feel good and add delt stress for me. Leaning forward adds stress to my chest leaning back or be up right and more Tricep

One of my favorite exercises, nahh that lean adds stress in the chest. Lean back and your triceps take over. I gotta try the elbow flare, hopefully front delts don’t try to take over. I’ll update MY EXPERIENCE.

Tricep dip is “impossible dip” (look up impossible dip) anything leaning foward is chest and triceps working together.

I like elbows in for all scenarios and focus on how I lean and what I extend, depending on the target

There are 2 positions for the grips at this machine. use one for triceps exercise. the other for chest.
You could get your elbows to a better pos.. easily.
