Since quite a few people are commenting I guess I have to address this.

Bricklink, a LEGO official website lists the Cody and Rex minifigures separately from other sets they have appeared in.

Yes Cody did come in the Geonosian Starfighter but Bricklink lists one version of Cody without his pauldron and waist cape and one with it.

With Rex, Bricklink has two listings with him having one with a range finder and one with the visor.
