The Chernobyl Reel // Part One // Welcome to The Zone

It’s been nearly 30 years since the nuclear disaster at Chernobyl. Today, follow my wife and I as we explore the city of Pripyat, the abandoned ghost town in the heart of the Exclusion Zone.

Part 1:
Having traveled to Ukraine, we begin our adventure into the exclusion zone. Spotting the tallest building in Pripyat, we enter carefully and begin the climb to the top for a birds eye view of this torn and devastated landscape. We take caution as the structure is crumbling beneath our feet. Nothing feels safe here. Nothing is safe here.
