Impressive! Can't imagine the effort that went into this. Must have a huge passion for the great Keith Jarrett, makes me happy to see this. That someone would have the nerve to post a negative comment, well, there is no limit to the disappointment social media can give. Let's hear how they play this. 😊 Or let me guess - playing the piano is not really something they're into. Their superpower is talking bullshit on YouTube. Shall I tell you which of these two skills I value more?

That it doesn't sound EXACTLY like Jarrett is a given. If that's a problem for someone, well, the original record is there, listen to that then! These are two different people, it would be kind of scary if there were no differences at all.

I wasn't really familiar with Jarrett's music before, just started listening to it and got seriously addicted. This piece is perhaps the most virtuoso number from him I've ran into so far. Super demanding! (And SO lovely!!!) No one plays like him but his music is there for us to enjoy and I can't imagine your enjoyment of being able to try out his stuff at this level. As a pianist, I'm a lowly amateur but the time will come when I'll try something by him myself. Must be something WAY easier than this one and I'll definitely not post it on YouTube but still. 😂

This is really good!. It seems like he is playing it on a slightly faster pace than the original recording but it generally sounds identical. The feel is quite not exact, but very close. Quite nice!!

Impressive! More people should hear this. This music is quite rough to play, and this is really well played. Brings out a lot of the strong melodies. Quite and accomplishment.

Who is this kid? Does he have any other videos or albums? Although he clearly is influenced by KJ, he has his own ideas as well. He has big technique and big heart. The real deal. Do not let him slip between the cracks.

Wow, there's another fellow who posts his renditions of Keith's music on YT, Tomasz ? Yours here is wonderful .

Sorry, but this piece requires an enormous amount of clarity, finesse, control, invention and technique to be musical and satisfying. It can NOT be played in such a sloppy, rushed, heavy-handed and mindless way.
