actually using a TV when your away would be power inefficent in the extreme if you can get away with using a lss power consuming light source after all most of the light generated is covered by the LCD screen thingy.. so i think it makes sense since you would be using that when your away for an extennded time...

though you might also want to make sure you done leave other clues that your away... like hving someone pick up the mail so it does not pile up near the mail slot etc...
