I don't know for sure if I'm a sigma male, but I've never trusted crowds. Crowds are usually wrong and they're only as fast as the slowest person in the front holding the rest back. I've always thought it was weak to seek the approval of others. Just do what's right and what's in your best interest regardless of what others think. Should you only do the right thing if someone is there to see it and pat you on the back? What if no one is around to stroke your ego? Only weaklings need ego strokes from strangers.

My friend is a alpha and I'm a sigma male. We both care for each other, have our backs, and both of us have many similar traits, but that he is more extrovert and I'm introvert. I can still talk to people but I rather be alone and if I have my alpha friend join with me, together we solve things faster and better

The bad thing about having self confidence, as you get older, is those you cherish that don't excel or don't achieve their full potential begin to appear somewhat alien. I mean; if we were friends for so long, and I prospered without much help so why cant you? Why don't you even try? Why do you appear to be stuck in a state of arrested development? The point is you may have to let go of old friends and some family because there will come a time when your the only one keeping the friendship alive, your the only one always chipping in and realize, they have become a drain on your peace and tranquility, so which would you rather have, a diminished friendship or serenity?

I think I might have been a sigma if I had more self-confidence, and cared less what other people think. I have never been able to fit into any group, or had any desire to conform for the sake of fitting in.
