Got the exact sony lens a few months back. It really is 100% worth it. I love it! Also I shoot on the A6000 so it crops to 75mm... can't beat it :)

I love my 50‘s. I have both, Full frame and APSC and they are both great. The bokeh is so good. And the quality is really great, especially in this price range. I think it‘s really an undervalued lens. 🤙🏼🤙🏼

I have a a6400 with the sigma 18-50mm 2.8 zoom lens. But my first prime is not an aps-c prime. I choose the sony 35mm f1.8 over the sigma 30mm 1.4 because the sony has a weather sealing af/mf sw and 1 programable button (better handling). I also i prefer better the 35mm (FF eq 52, 5 mm) focal lenght than the 30mm (FF eq 45mm). I think the 35mm worth the little price diffrent because i want to upgrade to FF in the future and the img quality is superb on the crop body. If anyone want to buy a good prime it worth to test before to buy. I totaly love that of corse its not a perfect lens but i can live with its mistakes. My next purchase is the sony 85mm 1.8 for portraits shots.

I used this lens today, amazing quality pictures. I am baffled how good this is. So sharp!!! I made over 400 photos but chose the best 25 and I cant wait to post them :) ^^

Convincing and energetic case, Curtis. The don’t call em “nifty fifty” for nothing. You’ve earned a Sony ambassador sash.😁 Side note - in-cam software based lens corrections can help compensate for shortfalls like lens distortion. In lightroom try turning off, then on, the auto lens correction feature and see the difference. Cheers!

I love my Nifty Fifty on my Canon 6d Mark II. It's a joy to shoot with on a full frame camera. Haven't tried it with an APSC camera.

I shoot and have always shot Hassie and Canon only but I just have to defend Nikon here; Their Z mount 50mm lens is the best 50mm ever made and the same goes for some of their other Z mount lenses. Nikon just makes superior glass but man their Z lenses are on a completely different level! That Z 50mm, the Z 70-200mm and the Z 400mm are just something out of dream... Wish I could use those on my Hassie X and my Canon RF systems...

Great lens, but not for video - It is too loud and can hunt. If its just B roll you will put music over then sure its great!
