To me it made more sense that instead of 3 firefighters going out to look for Marjan, it should have been Owen- a firefighter, Carlos- a police officer and TK- a paramedic (and firefighter) going out to look for her that way no matter what trouble she was in you would have had all basses covered (rescue, first aid, law). I mean anything Carlos was doing here on the phone he could have easily done in the passenger seat of the car.

I hope this episode will follow with Nancy and Mateo breakup. The way Mateo was acting said a lot. Nancy deserves a cute little girl anyway.
