I love how the writers could have easily just made it a kitten or a puppy but they made it a bearded dragon to show how much Carlos knows Tk

What I like about this scene is both put the other's happiness first by doing something they themself wouldn't want and handling their kryptonite. TK can't drink but poured Carlos a glass of wine and Carlos hates lizards but got TK one

The lizard was the compromise for now on being parents while Carlos figures things out on the topic. The most shocking part of this was TK actually cooking. LOL

I’m actually with Carlos, I don’t like lizards like I wouldn’t be getting them as pets, but seeing TK’s face being lit up with happiness is what really makes it worth it

Carlos is like me, 'please tell me the occasion'. My partner only has to cook for me or buy me a 🎁 and I'm there doing mental arithmetic trying to figure out what anniversary I missed.

This is the first time we see TK cooking for a change. The last time was when Carlos was punching a bag to work off anger and frustration after the swatting fiasco. TK made a salad 🥗 for both of them. Beef Wellington is fairly involved cooking. I wonder if he got it from a specialty store, ready to heat and serve? What’s really important is that they both realize that they are each giving to each other’s needs. I want to believe that Carlos will come around. Perhaps they should be introduced to other gay dads to see how they maneuvered the topic of parenthood.

Edit: Also, did the dragon come with the box and not a cage or did Carlos just pop him in there ???
