I just fixed mine, you go into where you pick your network you pick options and pick wifi frequency and put it to auto then from there put your wifi password again and if it doesn’t connect within the time frame leave and go to test your connection

FOR ANYONE STRUGGLING, U HAVE TO GO TO SAFE MODE AND RESET DEFAULT SETTINGS AND AFTER THAT PUT YOUR WIFI NETWORK AND SIGN IN THATS ALL U HAVE TO DO

I managed to resolve the error (nw-31297-2) by changing the TV

I was suffering from this problem. The solution is to disconnect other devices from the network and then re-type the Wi-Fi password on the ps4. It worked for me.

fixed the nw-31297-2 error but still can’t connect to internet. consistently gets the IP now though.

i can’t put my ps4 in safe mode because the button on it doesn’t it work it doesn’t even show a light i’m on ps4 slim
