If you hear the way Chris talks about his son you’ll know his intention wasn’t meant as a dig towards Jack. He loves that boy more then life itself. It’s normal to refer to your child as a “healthy baby girl/boy”

It's unfortunate that people look at that as a dig. Just because he has a child with health issues means he can't be thankful that his other child is healthy? Being thankful for a healthy baby doesn't mean that the child with health issues is loved any less, nor does expressing that thanks.

I was born with very serious heart defects. I have had 2 invasive open heart surgeries, at one point took 26 medications, constant doctor appointments and a laundry list of things I am not allowed to do, or meds I cannot take. I have 1 repaired valve, 1 cow valve, 2 titanium valves, a reconstructed left ventricle, and pace maker. I prayed my babies would just be healthy. I sincerely doubt that is what he meant. Imagine 2 babies going through that, if you haven't been in their shoes or in the child growing up "sick" shoes, might I suggest not judging anyone, especially on a 60 second short video. I totally understand where Chris Pratt was coming from.

Facts of the matter:
1) Is his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger? Yes
2) Was it her birthday? Yes
3) Did she give him a daughter? Again, YES.
4) Was she healthy? YES!!

The fact anyone is reading anything into this says more about THEM than it says about anything he said. 😑

So, how many ppl thank their wives for having a healthy child? Don't act like this is common. Most ppl just say thank you for giving me a beautiful son or daughter. Telling a woman thank you for a healthy son means that woman have the power to stop health conditions in their child. Aside from women who smoke, drink, or do drugs while pregnant, no woman can stop issues with a child she's growing in her belly. Saying thank you for giving me a healthy daughter makes it seem like some women are at fault of the child has issues.
