These ants are the cutest ants in the world! In this episode, we welcome a brand new colony to the Antiverse, and for the very first time, I attempt to create an ambitiously open-concept, floating ant farm, using a gorgeous sumo bonzai tree centerpiece. I think calling them "The Fae", as in the other word for fairies, might be fitting for such a cute small colony. Their genus Pheidole already sounds the same to Fae too. Also while looking up information on the origins of the word Fae I came across this little tidbit: "In Old French romance, a faie or fee was a woman skilled in magic, and who knew the power and virtue of words, of stones, and of herbs, " which reminded me of the way these little ladies traverse their land coexisting symbiotically with their new home and its other inhabitants.

Since they have 4 pretty unique queens imo
1) being the smartest and trying to hide in shadows
2) being the most caring and excited, who took her time looking around and checking in with every worker she passed by
3) being the toughest one, without 1 antenna, basically a scarred eye by human standarts
4) being the care-free one and welcoming any, even mites

Edit:I enjoy the way that AntsCanada makes his terrariums. Honestly I see the terrariums a resort that I would like to live in as an ant or a (very) tiny person.

Prima: "First" in Italian
Amiga: "Friend" in Spanish
Oda: Short for "Odin", the one-eyed God from Germanic and Norse mythology.
Stigma: "marked" in latin.
