How do you open the keyboard when steam is not running? I'm using ROM manager and a game pic is missing so I'm trying to go on Firefox to search an image and I can't find a way to pull up the keyboard... if steam has to run for the keyboard to work then that is stupid.

How come it doesn't work in Rom Manager? that seems to disable the virtual keyboard ?

Do you know how to disable this from popping up? Im using a bluetooth keyboard and anytime I get a prompt to type instead of just letting me use the bluetooth keyboard it pops the overlay along with it.

When you try to go into the search bar/change deck name, as soon as you try to type, the game crashes

When I’m in desktop mode on my steam deck when I move the cursor around on the screen, it keeps opening pulling open translucent blue boxes. Like a highlight thingy. Before it wasn’t doing that it would just move around. Normally, I’m not sure what I did wrong. I must’ve hit something and now it keeps doing that and I wanted to go back to how it was before. Can you help?

My keyboard delete previous character or letter when i type second. I mean it deletes first by itself

do you know any way to control temperature, wattage, etc like in gaming mode on desktop. I dont like how hot my steam deck is getting even if it is most likely a safe temperature

When the steam client is running, Steam+X opens the standard deck onscreen keyboard as well as a smaller steam onscreen keyboard above it- it’s causing issues when trying to type stuff. I tried deleting the desktop big picture configuration but the extra keyboard continues to display, anybody else have this issue or any ideas on how to resolve it?
