I'm glad to see that someone wrote you are doing well. You are not perfect you might have some relapses or other issues but we appreciate you, also it's great we have some elder youtubers it shows that it's never too late for sobriety !

Bodybuilding is the very same mindset. You’re doing amazing, mate.

Hey Tim, there's a lot of truth to this, motivation is fleeting but routine pulls us through those days motivation is lacking, especially in the fragility of mind an addict / alcoholic functions with, thank you for the reminder 😔..

Discipline .. is the major key. Notfads..ideas..or any other stuff. Plain hard marching on and not forgetting the pain and damage it’s caused our loved ones and others. I had another slip up on the over counter painkillers.. just subtlety took my eye off the ball! Been free alcohol free 4 months plus. I’m back on my feet now firmly focused… I REFUSE…to give in. We - I need you back here….all of us in the same corner fighting the enemy collectively!! Mark👍👍

As a former long term drug addict starting alcohol and drugs in 6th grade, I got high on life and would never ever let an addiction get in the way of my happiness. Sober and no drugs for 35 years.

Hey Tim, where are you? I hope you are ok. A few of us are worried about you. Don’t be ashamed to tell us if you have had a sobriety hiccup.

Tim, you are a warrior! You've got this!

I was once taught that one's influence is their greatest measure of success. By that definition you are extremely successful as you've earned a great deal of influence in the lives many who follow you on this channel!

I believe your best days still lie ahead.

Hope Tim’s ok… not seen him on here for a while… 😢I think about Dirk from the USA.. he had a great channel.. sadly he’s gone now only 52. I think that whilst these channels are great for encouraging… they can be a double edged sword as they can put a lot of “ self pressure” on the person so relapses can seem to be twice as bad. The reality is that the relapse is a most important part of the learning curve…in staying sober. Take care all - 🙏🙏👍

This REALLY hit home! Last weekend I became complacent and had NO motivation. Had a case of the "F it's!" and almost lost my job. Discipline is what got me through. I'm staying sober this weekend. Last few days have been hell.

I think it's great you caught yourself at your set back. I had one relapse and luckily came to my senses before it got out of hand. Just over a year ago is when I quit. It cost me 14000 dollars for rehab. Didn't like paying it but mabe it was good reminder of what can happen.

Hi Tim, I've been enjoying watching your videos and I am hoping for your continual sobriety. You are very intelligent and well articulated and I wanted to share something with you. I hit my bottom 35 years ago now. I am dual diagnosis that is I have some mental health challenges related to some wonderful but dysfunctional workaholic obsessive parents. I am lucky that my addiction was not pure alcoholism or pure hard drugs, but mostly what I could find which was mostly marijuana, and occasional binge drinking. But in my travels in sobriety with a lot of other sober people there's something called 2-year wonders. That is someone gets a couple of years and they feel like they are an authority on something that is coming baffling and powerful. I'm wondering if you're feeling pressured to be an authority on this topic. You can't think your way to sober living you have to live your way to sober thinking. Don't worry about reputation, you don't need to do your channel to remain sober. I noticed it's been a month since your last video and I hope all is well.
