Gravity Falls is just too good to have only 2 seasons. They should have 3 seasons and maybe a movie.

The show's creator had stated that the season isn't fully finished yet because episodes take a very long time for them to make. It's better to wait one year, then have to be patient every few weeks to a month than to have to wait 2 1/2 to 3 years.

A great game developer once said, "A delayed game is eventually good, but a rushed game is forever bad." A quality show like this is worth waiting for.

It takes the Gravity Falls Team 10 months to make a single episode. They probably work on a few episodes at a time but the development time is still really long. This explains why we had a to wait a whole year for season 2 of the show to air.

Alex has mentioned for a while that Disney's scheduling is kind of jacked up, and if he could, he'd just air them as soon as they were ready.

Alex Hirsch said it takes 10 months to make one episode, that's why it took so long for Season 2 to air and why episodes take awhile to air.
