The whammy bar dive you do at 0:48 may be the sickest I have ever heard! You got everything perfectly, especially that part before the tapping section that is hard to make out the notes on the recording. I could only dream of playing it this well. Excellent job!

i always thought this song looked kinda easy.. until i started to learn it.. first 2 hours of practice and i only got the first 10 seconds down.. my finger got blistered so bad i had to stop playing for 2 days.. van halen really is on another level and i can only applaud anybody that can play this! you have my respect and a new subscriber

This is the most perfect cover of the studio recording I've ever heard, every note and phrasing was identical to the original, to my ear anyway. The only difference was that the chords around the 25 second mark were allowed to ring for slightly longer, which imo makes it even better. I like that it's without the drums too, the guitar is freakin amazing sounding all by itself, and the tone is spot-on.
