You are correct, in English it is chicken nugget. We in Canada have some gachapon, but it's not as varied and they're normally called capsule toys. You find them near the exits of some bigger stores or at arcades next to candy dispensers. Most times it's stickers, or temporary tattoos which you tend to be able to choose, but you can also get toy ones or keychain ones that are random. For a couple of years there was actually a Pokémon card one outside my local Dollarama but it was almost always empty lol. We also have something called Kinder Eggs that are a hollow chocolate egg with a capsule inside with a random tiny toy from a selection and instructions to assemble it. It's geared towards young kids, which is funny Becuase the parents end up having to assemble it and every part of it is a choking hazard 😂. You can get random toys like that too from fast food places in kids meals but they come in a little plastic bag instead. A lot of places are starting to offer tiny cheap books as an option instead of toys too.

Yes! In my country gachapons are usually at old malls and have weird and interesting things inside, not as cool as the ones from 日本 but they're fun to me 🇲🇽✨

Our machines like that in the US are very cheap lol. It’s like 25 cents and it’s always something cheap that breaks almost immediately

we do have those in Australia, but they arent extremely common
you’ll mostly find them at shopping centres or even arcades, but theyre meant for children

We don't have gachapon in the US like in Japan, but we do have capsule machines that usually cost 25-75 cents for a smaller capsule and a tiny mystery toy or candy 😁 I wish gachapon was a thing here in the US though haha

Indonesia imported gachapon machines from Japan. We usually have them in Comic Cons or in a bookstore/toys store

We, in italy, had a sort of gachapon during the 90's. But was a temporary thing. There are some old gachapons in some old bars now but they're a vintage thing now.

In the United States we actually do have capsule toys in a lot of places. It's also chicken nugget in English too :) I couldn't agree more about the barbecue sauce too!
