a lot of people are saying stuff like “this shows that thanos didn’t understand the full power of the stones”, but to me it just proves how committed he was to the cause. he had all that power in the palm of his hand yet tried to kill as little unnecessary victims as possible and fought most battles with his bare fists. he really only wanted to balance the universe for the good of everyone, even if it was wrong

“All that suffering and you just watched?” I love how that line could be interpreted as Ultron being sassy and trying to break his moral character, but could also be interpreted at Ultron being genuinely angry that the Watcher, despite his power and status, has not achieved multiversal “peace” (read: destroy all life in the entire Multiverse) yet

I really dig Ross Marquand's interpretation of Ultron. You can really tell he's channeling a'lot of James Spader's mannerisms and inflections all while making the character his own.

Notice when Uatu says Ultron doesn’t need to do this (destroy all Universes), he’s not saying it condescendingly, he’s being compassionate and trying to persuade him. I think Uatu’s warning Ultron that what he’s going to do isn’t going to make him happy.

How long exactly did it took Ultron to find the Watcher? Probably time passes different in his plain of reality. For sure it does, but that's a whole journey, a very big one to deserve a "finally" so suffered from the machine that cleansed an entire universe

To be honest, yes, The Watcher has every reason to find this encounter absolutely terrifying. You're reading a book and then suddenly the fictional character doesn't break the fourth wall for a joke, but rather literally manifests into our world like a living, breathing, person. No wonder the Watcher freaked out, imagine if Deadpool made a quip to break the fourth wall then grabbed you in a chokehold, it's not a drawing, but he really just did.

The way that the watcher is narrating that Ultron is now aware of the watcher, but doesn't actually become fully conscious of it until Ultron says he can see him is so funny
