I foolishly thought if I gave a little consideration I’d get a little consideration in return. I gave until I had absolutely nothing left to give and then I stopped. A woman has an endless ability to take without giving without the least thought of the hypocrisy. They also have an endless list of excuses for why in a particular situation they can’t give consideration. Interestingly the particular situation where they can agree never comes to light. When I finally realized it was BS I started saying NO - you don’t need me to do that - regularly and things began to change. It takes a long time to change the course of a giant battleship. Be patient. It eventually comes around.
