If you haven’t seen this reel trend yet, they are supposed to be bopping their heads just like me 🤣 I explained to my kids what we had to do in this video. We practiced several times and still, they insisted on doing whatever it is that they were doing in this video 🤣.

Sometimes we model language, narrate, read books, and do all the things and still our kids don’t imitate or do what we want them to do, which is talk! So what do we do?

❤️Be consistent! Don’t give up! Even when you think they aren’t learning they are! They are soaking it all in!
😃Don’t become frustrated! They sense it! Make communicating fun and motivating! Take the pressure off!
👍🏼Make sure you’re not setting your expectations too high. Yes, a 2-year-old is expected to be using 2-word phrases but if your 2-year-old doesn’t have words yet then meet them where they are not where they should be!

Does your child easily imitate you?
