i, m new to pots i, ve recently moved into a flat so need to adjust to pot growing and know absolutely nothing at all about strawberrys so your video was a great help, BUT as strawberrys are perennials what happens next year with the pots ? can you keep on potting ? perhaps potting up ? or would you need to plant outside, Great video by the way thank you.

Hi Erica, a friend gave me quite a few strawberry plants last Spring that I planted at the base of my grapes! I hope that they multiply and spread and produce this year! I didn’t get too many last year, a few garden snacks and enough for some strawberry shortcake after gathering and freezing them! Best wishes for a delicious harvest! 🍓🍓🍓

Hey Erica.... I have had success with an Everbearing Strawberry called "Mara Des Bois". It blooms May through September and has the highest Quality flavor and Aroma.

Erica you will get great runners from them. It isn't till the following year that I get a good harvest from mine. I just got rid of a old strawberry patch, but had let runners on three other beds. I net mine over, in my allotment, and spread some coffee to deter slugs. Have you ever tried the hybrid version, pinestrawberry is one have( pineapple) sounds weird but lovely. B&Q sometimes have hybrids. Well done great video, here's to a great harvests.

Hi Erica, Elsanta is a good tasting variety. However for my money Sonata is a much better tasting fruit. Sonata is an Elsanta – Polka cross, taking the best qualities from both. Marshmallow is also nice tasting type but have found it difficult to pick it at its optimal ripeness as it seems to be red for a few days before its ready and then turns over-ripe very quickly. That being said last year was its first season for me and what a trying season it was so will see how does this year, if its the same it will be for the chop and I will try another variety.

Hi Erica if your interested I’ve got a short video on my channel where I grew strawberries in 5lt pots up a 6 foot post you can get 28 plants in a very small area and only have to water from the top, it works well
