Can you look into body care/ hair care brands (dove, bath and body works, garnier, etc.) and their ethics? It would be interesting to see how the brands we see on the shelf in almost every store investigated in that way :)

I am so glad you’ve introduced me to this ethical brand! It’s a little outside of my price range, but I think it’s actually worth saving up for (unlike name brands that have underhanded practices for labor sourcing and environmental impact)

Outdoor brands rarely carry true plus size clothing. I was still backpacking as a size 20, and I could only buy clothes from Columbia. There appears to be a misconception that us big girls don't hike and swim and backpack. Even as an avid gardener, I have few brands to pick from for quality outdoor wear - Duluth Trading being the primary option.

The thing I appreciate the most about these videos is that you talk in a way that always feels judgement free!! Sustainability practices, unfortunately are not very inclusive (yet 🤞 ) but these are still educational for anyone who may want to learn more without feeling judged for living within their means

Mia! You should do a mens wear review for tentree or just get Stuart one of their mystery boxes. Tentree is the best place I’ve found for ethical t-shirts for my husband. I get stuff there too, but my husbands t-shirt drawer is basically all them at this point. Their tencel shirts are so soft, long lasting, and have cute little embroidery touches like a little Sasquatch (perfect for the PNW).

Investigating ethical brands could be such an interesting series! For example, I keep seeing ads for Quince and I would love to know if they’re actually sustainable, cute, and worth the money :)

A fun fact!: They ship like that to retailers too! My old company used to sell TenTree (we closed about 4 years ago :( ) and that's exactly how we'd receive our stock - including the way they're wrapped etc
