I actually couldn't breathe during this scene...the rockets igniting, the Saturn V hurtling towards space, and the violence of the staging explosion coupled with this piece of music culminated in near sensory overload. So well done!

This is not your typical historical documentary film commonly adulterated by a narrator (i.e., talking head); an approach I found refreshing. The film succinctly portrays the essence and spirit of the Apollo 11 mission in its nearest raw state, without the drama and chatter found in mainstream reproductions. The modicum of music (imho, shades of Tron 2010 soundtrack) in the film is powerful and well incorporated. Some examples are the "liftoff and staging" and "rendezvous" scenes. All-in-all, I found the film inspiring, revitalizing, and aesthetically pleasing. I hope you will give it a chance.

Whenever something incredibly spectacular happens in a movie, I get teary eyed and feel like crying.
This documentary had me teary eyed the whole time. It is just so fascinating to watch it, but the soundtrack was the breaking point. Especially this one, the music made me almost burst into tears as they lifted off. I loved the documentary and I have no regrets of seeing it.

It was the best movie I have ever seen Mat thank you for making the soundtrack of a great film using all archive footage at what seems to be the dawn of a a second space age. I am excited for what we will see next. :)
