Is it worth moving to Malta? This is a very common question that i get and all the answers are in the video. Starting from all the job opportunities in Malta, the great health system and education system, it is worth moving to Malta as long as you have a stable income.

Colleges in Malta:
Mcast (Vocational education and training institution)
ITS ( Hospitality School)
Junior College (Higher Secondary Schools)

Universities:
University Of Malta ( Public University)
St Thomas University ( Private University)
American University Of Malta ( Private University)

It's 5 years since I visited Malta. It felt like home. But the price increases for renting in the last 5 years for an apartment is horrible.
The apartments are in the same price range as in Vienna.
And the most people here are not used to share an apartment cause we need our privatecy.
It's hard to figure out with witch job and you can afford the living there.
And 2 jobs are to much. It could be the beautifulst place of the world. But if you have to work all the time, you can't enjoy it. And you know. We can't bye time with money.

Thanks, Alex for these points. I also want to share my experience as an expat.

1) I have been to Malta 2 times. I used to do internship and after that, I got a job offer as an Electrical Engineer. While doing my internship, I was doing a part-time job at 🔹Pjazza Gelateria🔹 in Sliema. I would say even I liked more working there than my full-time engineering job 😄

2) Malta has opportunities for everyone even tolerant for whoever doesn't have fluent English level

3) Weather is unbelievable, beaches, pools etc. are for making your time enjoyable while being in Malta

4) For health service, I would say about dental service which I had good and bad experience. Because one doctor fixed my 1 tooth 3 times and still worse than ever, conversely, another one fixed in one tooth still perfect(knock the wood)

5) About living expenses, I was buying everything organic with high quality and spending max of 300 on groceries. Additionally, for a shared room was paying 300 too.

6) Overall, I made a mistake that I rejected my Electrical Engineering job offer and came to Canada for a high degree.
But Maltese people are super super super kind ❤Malta is a beautiful island, maltese language is also easy to learn.

Malta is Hanina❤❤❤❤ Always in my heart! All good memories! Definitely worth to visit at least once in a life!

See you soon, will come back at my first chance 🤞🏽

Hi Alex I would love to live and work in Malta but am 61 years of age and work about 19 hrs per week cleaning I could not do one full time job and 1 part time job (I did this in my 20s) but dont want to do this now Also I live in Scotland and have to wait till I am 66 years old to get my pension I have been to Malta on holidys (twice to St Paul and once to St Julian) Absolutely loved Marsaxlokk Anyway now Scotland is out of EE I dont think it is possible for me to live in Malta especially as the rents are so expensive plus I live alone with 2 cats in 1 bed flat Anyway I will continue to come to Malta on holiday as love the fact everyone speaks English brilliant climate great Coffee and food especially ricotta pastry and great pizza and friendly people

Love your vids Alex you are a very clever chap.
But i must say one thing, since Brexit and the influx of workers from around the world i find Malta is not as friendley towards Brits as it used to be.
As you know Maltese love money and cheap labour, once they have your money they do not care about you.
You are correct show a wage slip and you will get medical treatment but if you are Maltese in Britain you do not have to i think this is not fair regards to you Alex keep up the good work

As a Maltese resident I can't wait to leave Malta.
Air pollution, extortionate property prices, over population, over-construction, noise pollution around every corner, not enough nature... we are packed in small apartments like battery chicken in cages over here.
