Sony Xperia PRO-I Field Review

So I took the Xperia PRO-I for a full day of shooting photos and videos while vlogging the whole journey on the PRO-I as well, so this is as real as it gets! haha
I hope this field test helped you with your questions regarding the phone and its capabilities!

NOTE: All photographs and video is not edited, and it us straight out of the camera.
The audio is also all from the phone which is capable of recording in both stereo and mono.
The Portrait video part was shot using a DJI OM 4 gimbal for smartphone.

Everyone asks about the difference between the PRO-I and 1 III, but the major pro is the 24mm 1 inch sensor. On the PRO-I you no longer get the 70-105mm focal length but rather a 24mm lens that has the best image quality in any smartphone that I've used.

It's amazing what an Xperia Pro I can do in the right hands, people are quick to dismiss the phone because they don't know how to use cameras and it's an amazing tool for photography and videography from what I saw so far the results are amazing even can compete with DSLR cameras at instance

Man I love what Sony has done since combining their mobile and alpha teams under the direction of the new CEO. Having this much control in your pocket is purely for fun and the enjoyment of the process of creating art. I wish I could have the same camera apps on my Pixel 6 Pro. But also, I remember I do have my a7iii too so I just use that.

The image/ quality with the right settings is so good that a normal person might not be able to differentiate it from a DSLR/Mirror-less Camera. Amazing video and with the live screen capture it surely felt like a I was looking at a professional cera being operated not a phone. The price is too high but for an enthusiast, it's still justifiable.

hi ... this is something! this is no longer a phone, well, not a mule, as we are used to seeing as in other brands that evaporate to us .. we will not talk about who specifically "🍏 Sony finally did it ... I waited for years, and I knew that one day Sony will make itself felt !! and simply, it will put everyone aside, and set a new trend ... this is the best cameraphone, and there are no second third ones, because everything else is plus or minus

Thank you so much for this outstanding review - I'm looking at the Pro-I and Xperia 1 IV and trying to decide has been difficult. Most reviews out there just stick the phono in auto mode and then complain that the results aren't anything speciall. I rarely use my phone camera in auto mode and always adjust settings to get the best out of the scene, and this video does a great job of showing what this phone camera is really capable of when you use it properly.

My decision has been made...Pro-I it is!

Really like how you recorded the shooting process! I can see for myself that night shots work between ISO250-400 (without needing to go lower than 1/60) all thanks to your video!
