"Sony naming its products: must contain at least 8 characters, a mixture of numbers and letters, and at least one special character"

Sony is the definition of "he's a little confused, but he's got the spirit" when it comes to phones

With this Xperia Pro - I, Sony became the first company to use 0 plastic in their packaging and still manage to throw in a charger brick.
This is truly eco friendly

I honestly preferred the look of the Sony in the second pair of photos, the colors were just more natural

The way Sony process its pictures is just so refreshing.
I've always like their natural and "organic" way to render things, while all the other manufacturers have this processed look.

I respect Sony for never making a phone with a notch or a punch hole!

Never stop, Sony. Never stop being you.

With LG gone the torch has been passed to you, Sony. Don't let the flame die out!

Sony has their ups and downs but can wr also take a moment to appreciate that Sony Xperia are the only phones above $1, 000 that has both an expandable memory and 3.5mm headphone jack? It'd one of the most very very very very rare flagships that you can listen to a music on your own without the need of a bluetooth device.

Tbh, aside from the first image, I have preferred the colours and details of the Sony in other comparison shots. They look more natural and seem to retail more information and clarity.

I work for Zeiss. Sony makes most of the sensors for our cameras that we use in microscopy. Super impressive stuff!

I love that the Sony smartphone division is like, "we're going to do what we want to do" 😂. I love them for that.

They should've just made it thicker. It's an enthusiast phone! Anybody who would put a lanyard on a phone wouldn't mind a few more millimeters of thickness to utilize the full 1" sensor and add some extra battery to power that ridiculous display!

Actually prefer the raw natural look to the images.

The design on this phone is actually bloody amazing. One of the best I have seen in years actually.

Fun fact: a 1“ type sensor (what is commonly referred to as a 1“ sensor) is actually no where near 1“ in any dimension, it’s reference to the 1“ imagining tubes from old analog video cameras, that were replaced by these 1“ type sensors. This sensor actually only has a 15.8mm diagonal, so about 2/3“. There’s a great video on the matter by Philip Bloom

I don't know what Marques was looking at on the photos nor what everyone else is looking at but All the sony pictures had the accurate color and were more detailed.

I actually found myself preferring the images from the Xperia Pro-i rather than the iPhone 13 Pro. Even if they had slightly less detail or dynamic range, they were more pleasing to the eye especially with their colours, focus, etc. Perhaps it is a difference caused by my smartphone's display or I just actually prefer the Xperia's image it's quite surprising.
