Those who give food stamps should be held accountable also. There needs to be investigations before issuing food stamps.

That Housing authority lady has her grey laid! Too bad if she serves time it’ll cut into her hair styling time. She was a manager at the Housing authority she didn’t even need the food stamps, just ridculous!

It sounds to me like Mr Scales has already decided that Betty Anderson is guilty of nothing . I bet nothing happens to these crooks, they won't pay the money back, and everybody will continue to say that black people don't get a fair shake in this country

NO MONEY  should be involved, send food to leaches instead of money or build distribution centers and they can go get FOOD and only food there.

How did welfare affect the Great Depression?
While attitudes toward government assistance began to change during the Great Depression, going on welfare was still viewed as a painful and humiliating experience for many families.

Watch it again and listen this time. They did proactively steal. They received notification of the error and didn't respond. They then went out and used or sold the stamps. They went to someone, asked for money and gave the stamps in return. Fraud and theft in one action. These people most definitely stole on purpose. It wasn't a mistake.

Everybody is the system, that's why most people get away with it. Certain groups know the system and they will screw Uncle Sam because they feel it is owed to them.

Even still, it's illegal to not report mistakes in your benefits to the government when it's obvious.

the problem is the corporations are in bed with the government and write the laws together. So their "theft" is actually not illegal under the laws they lobbied so hard for.

Lmao that they thought she was gonna come in. The weedman & crack dealers probably got the majority of them stamps.

This makes the system that assists persons that need help look bad, no one likes having to get help, and the funds are limited so someone’s kids went without because of it.
