You really can’t go wrong with some crispy tofu covered in a lovely sticky sauce, especially when it’s served on a bed of rice that’s laced with lovely shredded veggies. Once you’ve made this we’re pretty sure you’ll make it again and again because it really is downright delicious.

I made this the other day, I didn't have any cornflour, I had barley flour so used that, I am cutting back on the carbs, stir fried the pak choi and served it on a bed of raw spinach... OMG tasty!

Oh my! This baked tofu with sticky topping is a game changer! The “cronch” is unmatched IMO! Lunch tomorrow with “Bok Choy” wok-tossed riced for sure!

So simple, so delicious. Def going to try this one :) I would sprinkle some sesame seeds on the tofu before serving.

That sticky tofu looks amazing. I already have brown rice, albeit with broccoli rabe, in the fridge. And a package of tofu. Guess I have dinner!

Didn't know that you could bake tofu after coating it with cornflour. I always fried it in a shallow frying pan with some vegetable oil. Definitely a healthier way to get crispy tofu. 😏😏😏 Thanks Ian. Much appreciated by the way. Bon appetit and have a splendid Saturday night. - Ben

I do agree: "perfect for mid-week". I'm definitely inspired for tonight's dinner. Will use napa cabbage instead of bok choy.

I cook extra rice and
make bean and rice burgers
with them the next day
and have it with stir fry rice
the pak choi stir fried rice looks a good variant
and I do like a crispy baton of tofu

I just learned that the English/Australian word "cornflour" means "corn starch" in American English. Also Pak choy and Bok choy are synonymous. Excellent video. Now I know how to crisp tofu.
