The fact he enjoyed Carl Jung is fascinating and important. I love Jung's views because he seemed hopeful in humanity and empathetic. It seems Charles liked him for those reasons too. Scary genius how he took advantage of those teachings; he probably learned about the emotion of empathy through a textbook rather than ever feeling it.
