Refurbished is always the way to go for iPads. Brand new casing, battery and accessories plus warranty. Why the hell not?

I just saw the ipad mini refurbished for $419 refurbished from apple, and I am glad you said they add new battery and shell, I didn't know that they did that. It looks like they say it comes with the normal 1 year warranty and like you said I saw the offer apple care plus for $3.49 a month which in my opinion is the way to go vs buying up front because you can keep that on there as long as you own the device. I was told that by apple when I had a device on the monthly. They said even if it is 4 years old and your battery goes below 80% they will cover it.

I find it a bit annoying that they mainly sell the very high-end products as refurbished. I‘d like to have an Ipad with 128 GB without the Cellular add on. But this barely exists in refurbished. The only refurbished product that makes sense for me is the ipad 8th generation with 128 GB. It is half the prise of the new device I would buy, the new Ipad Air.
But it is so old and I fear it might stop being supported in one or two years.
