I bought an iPhone 12 Pro refurbished from them for my wife and the thing looked brand new. It's a nice peace of mind to know that it has a new battery. At the time buying one elsewhere was significantly more expensive

I bought an iPad Mini 6 as refurbished from Apple and it was a pretty decent deal

You can also get the student discount even if you’re not a student. They don’t check.

They to give discounts for Students which is a pretty nice discount usually $100 off any iPad or Mac and usually do a deal that you usually either get $100 Apple gift card with the purchase or you get free AirPods something along that line is usually what they’re doing. The store is kind of hidden at the bottom of the website though.

Always recommend buying second hand or refurbished whenever you can, it's so much better for the environment not to mention cheaper

Or be friends with a coworker whose spouse is an Apple Store employee. I’m a student, though not yet able to receive the student discount for college.
A guardian of mine was, and still is good friends with a coworker whose spouse who we’ll call “Hyman” works at a store in Santa Monica (the Third Street Promenade). When I was looking for a MacBook Pro, that guardian asked Hyman if he could look into available MacBooks at their store. Just before Christmas, one was found in excellent condition; a MBP from July 20, 2022 that was only returned because it was delivered in space gray instead of silver. It couldn’t be sold as new, so it sat until Christmas.
My guardian was notified of the deal, and purchased it refurbished (it couldn’t be sold brand new because of open box). It was actually a far better deal, since it was an upgraded MBP with 16GB unified memory and 512GB SSD for $1199. I’m using it rn to write this.
**(TLDR/All in All):** Only buy refurbished if you know the absolute condition of the device in which you are buying. If not, find someone that does.

I bought an iPhone 11 Pro Max 512GB Midnight Green a year ago, I love it! It had a defect during a few months after using it, but the warranty covered it.

Apple does sales all the time on their Amazon store. I remember Phill Schiller even mentioning that once a few years ago.

I use backmarket, its trust worthy in my opinion. When I buy from them i use the lowest condition there is and it looks fabulous and battery is usually good. Im my OP try it out, and if it doesn't go wrong then try to refurbish it :P

I purchased a refurbished iPhone 5s way back in the same year when iPhone 6 is about to be released. The iPhone 5s was in good condition, however, I encountered a problem with it when it does not detect network signal at all. I had to return it for replacement and it took a while but it’s worth it. I still use it to this day but not as my daily driver.

The back to school discount is pretty neat as well. I never paid for my pencil pro and air pods since I got them along with my iPad Air and mac. I was very happy about the pencil since I do art and didn’t have the budget to separately buy one when I bought the ipad

My last 3 Apple devices were refurbished and they’ve been absolutely fantastic. Can’t tell the difference. And saved a few hundred by buying refurbed

i bought my M1 11 inch refurb from their site and it when it arrived it felt like it was completely new, ive been using it for 3 months non-stop for my studies and its been handling everything with minimal effort

I bought an Apple TV 4K refurbished a few years ago, and its still working very well.

Backmarket is also another option and it’s much cheaper but nothing is pristine

If you're in the US Military or a Veteran /w disability, the base exchange has Apple products for sale without taxes and often with good discounts. They also price match.

Yeah but Best Buy refurbished is always cheaper. Apple’s refurbished store isn’t even that cheap. The discounts are very low, and for some of their products, like MacBooks and AirPods, the price of a brand new one on Amazon is cheaper than a refurbished one on Apple
