I had somehow convinced myself that I must do seated meditations, but would get both stiff and antsy when doing it in the past, so for a very long time I have put off meditation altogether. I’m currently reading a book on the nature of memory which reminded me how vital meditation is. Today I had a day that brought me to my knees emotionally and spiritually, so I sought out this practice which I’d seen posted. How comforting to hear it is not only okay but encouraged to lie on my back, supported by the various props, and be encouraged to really take my time settling in. This wonderful meditation made it possible for the first time in many, many weeks to get quiet. I am so deeply grateful.

Best Body scan I’ve found. Pleasing narration over a pleasant soundtrack. Focused on the ‘what’, not the ‘why’. I find in other videos where there is extra commentary on the benefit of practice that I get distracted. This scan of specific body parts in a logical sequence without extra verbiage is wonderful.
