Oh yeah, handling spicy peppers without gloves and then using the toilet is one way to know what pepper spraying your nether regions feels like

I love very hot peppers. The first and third ones look like Carolina Reaper. I'm so envious that you can grow peppers in your garden and freeze dry them. I watched this video numerous times, fantasising about when I'll able to grow my own peppers😅
I enjoy watching your freeze drying videos. I just can't justify owning one now, given the cost. Maybe someday in the future

I have some really hot ghost peppers I'm getting ready to harvest. I wish I had a freeze dryer, I have to make do with a dehydrator. I also ferment them for some spicy sauce, I actually have "customers" (friends) who get on a list each year for a bottle or two, which I just give away.

Plant and soil science major here. I’ve never tried but I’m going to go out on a limb and say that those seeds are cooked. Seeds will die if kept in harsh conditions like being left in heat like on the dashboard of your car especially seeds of crops which are generally more sensitive than weed seeds. It may not kill them all but at the very least it will affect germination rate, and you probably don’t want to waste resources on a bunch of duds. You should just cut them out and save them before freeze drying the peppers, if you want to grow them.
